NOTE: the previously-linked mother #1275 (Elizabeth Chedsey b.1706 d.1729) is PROVABLY WRONG - she died 44 years before this birth (same-name mismatch). True mother = 'Elizabeth, wife of Thomas Chedzey' (no separate record yet). Mother link removed. [corrected 12 Jun 2026] [sibling-group note, 14 Jun 2026] Probable siblings (same recorded parents Thomas & Elizabeth @ West Quantoxhead, baptised within one generation; NOT yet linked, parents have no record yet): Betty Chedzey b.1777 (#1350); George Chedzey b.1779 (#1352). PARKED 15 Jun 2026: captured to baseline - sourced FreeREG baptism with parents named, plus sibling-group / probable-parent notes.
