Why this tool exists

Facebook's own Sharing Debugger requires a Facebook developer account and blocks anonymous access. X/Twitter's Card Validator was retired in 2023 with no official replacement. LinkedIn's Post Inspector works but only for LinkedIn. Meanwhile, content marketers need to check share previews across every platform their audience uses.

This tool fetches your page, parses the Open Graph and Twitter Card tags, and renders roughly-accurate mockups for Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, WhatsApp, Slack, Discord, iMessage and Reddit — the platforms that between them cover most share traffic. It also validates the tags against each platform's known quirks (image URL scheme, title length, required Twitter card values, etc.).

Shares the same cached audit as /seo-check and /schema-check, so one fetch covers all three checks. Platform previews are approximate — the platforms tweak their rendering periodically.
