Created 16 Jun 2026 to connect his Chertsey (Surrey) children. Named as father on the Chertsey baptisms of Mary (1826, #1380), Frances (1829, #1381), Rosanna (1834, #538) and Jane Elizabeth (1838, #1387) [FreeREG]. Almost certainly the Hezekiah Chedzey who married Frances Cooper on 7 Mar 1824 at Upton, Oxfordshire (FamilySearch) - the forename Frances and the 1824 date fit the children, though the Oxfordshire marriage vs the Surrey baptisms is a minor caveat; this gives the mother's likely maiden name as Cooper (probable, not asserted). That marriage record names Hezekiah's own parents as Salmon and Sarah Chedzey - a lead to verify. 'Hezekiah' is a recurring West-Somerset Chedzey name and a Hezekiah Chedzey was buried at Chertsey in 1797 (possibly an older relative). Birth estimated c.1800 from the 1824 marriage.
