Dog showing (sourced): documented exhibiting an Irish Setter "owned by Mrs Chedgzoy, of Redditch" - Stratford-upon-Avon Herald, 16 Aug 1985 [British Newspaper Archive]. A family setter registered roughly as "Cooper Ched of Canomare" (call name Cooper; "Canomare" the breeder's affix, spelling approximate) qualified for and competed at Crufts. Sources not yet reached: Kennel Club Stud Book and affix register, the Crufts catalogue for Cooper's year, the Irish/Gordon Setter breed-club yearbooks, and the dog press (Our Dogs, Dog World).
