Known in the family as Dolly; recorded name corrected to Doris. Daughter of John James Chedgzoy #10 and Mary Ann Durber #1728 (Ancestry member tree, exact parent match). Born 31 Jan 1905, registered Jan-Mar 1905 Aston, Birmingham [England and Wales Civil Reg. Birth Index, as Doris]; she is the Dolly Chedgzoy aged 6 in the 1911 Aston census (the same record indexes her as Doris). Died Oct-Dec 1958, Birmingham, aged 53 [Civil Reg. Death Index, as Dora Chedgzoy b.~1905; member trees give Doris (Dolly) d.Oct 1958]. NOTE: the previously recorded birth year 1882 was wrong by over twenty years. A member tree lists a husband William George Wood, but she died under the Chedgzoy surname, so the marriage is left UNCONFIRMED pending the marriage record.
