Son of Richard Thomas Chedgzoy (#685) and Elizabeth Jane, confirmed by the 1911 Wales Census household at Cwmaman, near Aberdare (he is "Ivan Henry", age 4, son). [Ancestry, 1911 Wales Census coll. 2353]. Married WINIFRED HARRY, registered Jan-Mar 1937, Pontypridd district [England & Wales Civil Registration Marriage Index 1916-2005, coll. 8753]. Their son KELVIN Chedgzoy (#243) was born 1940 in the Pontypridd district, and Kelvin's birth-index entry gives his mother's maiden name as HARRY, which confirms this couple as Kelvin's parents. Direct ancestor of Prof. Kate (Catherine Sarah) Chedgzoy: Evan Henry is her grandfather (Kelvin #243 her father).
