His 8 census-confirmed children are Thomas/Sidney/Reginald/Lily/Herbert John/Ernest/Ellen Rose/Florence May. Charles Henry is likely MIS-ATTRIBUTED to William (or an infant who died between censuses -- but no baptism/burial found). Parentage/existence as his child UNCONFIRMED -- do not assert. (Gertrude also has an impossible "b.1860" = father's year.) BIRTH & DEATH (FamilySearch, 16 Jun 2026): baptised 20 Nov 1887 at Stoke St Gregory (son of William Chedzoy and Emma) and buried there 1 Dec 1887, having died as an infant eleven days after baptism (England, Somerset, Church Records 1501-1999; GRO death index Taunton 1887).
