His 8 census-confirmed children are Thomas/Sidney/Reginald/Lily/Herbert John/Ernest/Ellen Rose/Florence May. Edith Maud is likely MIS-ATTRIBUTED to William (or an infant who died between censuses -- but no baptism/burial found). Parentage/existence as his child UNCONFIRMED -- do not assert. (Gertrude also has an impossible "b.1860" = father's year.) CHECK (FamilySearch, 16 Jun 2026): could not confidently match Edith Maud among William and Emma Chedzoy's children (a William+Emma Edith appears b.1903 SSG but with a different sibling set than the Charles 1887/Reginald 1896 family).
