[2026-06-14 census verify] Confirmed as head of household in 1901 (RG13/2859, Aston/Deritend, age 32) and 1911 (RG14/18230, Sparkbrook, age 42, brass polisher), wife Elizabeth #1738, in Birmingham. BIRTH-YEAR FLAG: both censuses give age ~1869 and birthplace Birmingham/Kings Norton; member trees say 4 Oct 1869. DB currently has 1865 with a 'Taunton 1864 GRO 5c/414' birth ref -- that Somerset ref looks MIS-ATTACHED (this family is London->Birmingham, brother of John James #10). Likely true birth 4 Oct 1869 Birmingham; NOT changed pending a primary record (birth cert / baptism).
{CENSUS} Brother of John James #10 - son of John Chedgzoy (#2057) + Sarah Caroline oDell (#1737). 1871 and 1881 census at Kings Norton, Worcestershire (1881 in widowed mother Sarahs household with brother John); 1891 census at Smethwick, Staffordshire. Married Elizabeth; son Leslie. Died 13 May 1932 (multiple member sources; confirms our 1932). NB records give his birth as ~1866-1869 at Kings Norton (Birth Index Apr 1866), which differs from our 1865 Alfred St Birmingham - same man, discrepancy to resolve. [Ancestry, transcription pass].
