1861 census household (verified 13 Jun 2026): a Thomas Chedzoy aged 45 (b.~1816 SSG) + wife EDITH (41) headed a household at Stoke St Gregory with children Ellen (1849), Susana (1851), George (1853), Edwin (1854 = Edwin #139), Eleyne/Ellen (1856), Albert (1857), Jane (1859), William (1860) [TNA RG9/1615 f62 p21]. AMBIGUITY (unresolved): the census age (b.~1816) fits BOTH this Thomas #97 (bapt.1814, son of Issacher #30) AND Thomas #115 (bapt.1817, son of John #1761 the mason). Edwin #139 is currently linked to #97; the Bath line's route to the apex (via Issacher #30 vs via John #1761) hinges on which Thomas married Edith - resolve via the Thomas-x-Edith marriage record before treating it as settled.
