Sources & research

Probable death: an Eliz. Chedsey was buried at Stoke St Gregory on 28 Jan 1700/1 (FreeREG record). This is very likely Elizabeth, Walter Chedzoy's first wife: she married Walter at Stoke St Gregory on 9 Feb 1690/1, and Walter remarried (Martha Musgrove) in 1701, so his first wife had died by then. The burial names only 'Eliz. Chedsey' with no relationship given, so the identification is probable, not proven.
