Sources: Harwood tree (father Harry, mother Edith Annie Clifford -- exact match) + many member submissions + 1939 Register (Warwickshire). >>> The DB birthplace "Montreal, Canada" is UNVERIFIED -- no Canadian record seen and she is in Warwickshire by 1939; flag for confirmation (could be a GEDCOM error, or Harry briefly emigrated -- unproven). Private member PHOTOS of her exist (owner-locked). {CORROBORATION 19 Jun 2026} The previously-unverified Montreal birthplace is now SUPPORTED: Ancestry passenger/arrival indexes show her father Harry #6 (born Birmingham) arriving in Canada in the 1919-1924 window and the family returning by ship from Montreal to Liverpool. So the family was demonstrably in Canada when she was born (25 Mar 1924), which fits a Montreal birth. Still short of a Canadian birth/baptism record (those collections are paywalled on the current tier), but the emigration trail removes the main doubt.
