Died Q1 1977, Birmingham; the death index gives DOB 5 Aug 1920 (GRO death 32/1666) [FreeBMD, Chedgzoy spelling]. Brother of Ronald (also mother Clifford). NB register currently shows birth year 1930; the index evidence points to 1920. Born 5 Aug 1920, not 1930 as previously recorded: the 1939 Register gives his DOB as 5 Aug 1920 (living in Warwickshire), corroborated by the death index. Died Jan-Mar 1977, Birmingham.
