There is a parent conflict to resolve: this record is tagged as a daughter of James Chedzoy (#1767) and Sarah Wilment, but the imported note describes a Charlotte baptised 2 Mar 1833 to John and Ann (#28). There appear to be two contemporary Charlottes. A Charlotte Chedgzoy was buried at Stoke St Gregory on 4 Feb 1844 (FreeREG), which matches the recorded death of 29 Jan 1844, but which Charlotte that is needs disambiguating. PARKED for the Ancestry/census pass to sort the two Charlottes. RESOLVED (12 Jun 2026): the census rules OUT John #28 as her father -- his 1841 Stoke St Gregory household (HO107/941 bk8 f6 p6, EV-003) contains no Charlotte. So the imported "daughter of John+Ann" note is mistaken; she is retained as the daughter of James #1767 + Sarah Wilment (b.~1832 SSG). The Charlotte Chedgzoy buried 4 Feb 1844 at SSG (FreeREG) is hers -- she died a child (~age 11). Birth + death complete. {CENSUS} Died in childhood (aged ~12); would appear only as a child in the parental household (1841 census). No independent census trail to gather.
