Son of John Chedzoy (#28) and Ann (nee Chedgzoy), baptised 5 Jun 1825 at Stoke St Gregory (father's occupation labourer, of Stoke St Gregory). FreeREG record His father John is recorded as a labourer, which (with the 1809 baptism conflict noted on #28) helps distinguish him from the contemporary John Chedzoy who was a mason. Recorded as having died 1890 (WikiTree; unchecked). His own marriage and death are for a later research turn. CENSUS (Ancestry, 17 Jun 2026 - transcription first pass): found in the 1841 census at Stoke St Gregory, and the 1881 census at Bridgwater, Somerset (wife Fanny / Frances, daughter Elizabeth). Identity secure: b.5 Jun 1825 SSG, d.Oct 1890 Bridgwater, parents John + Ann. The 1851/1861/1871 censuses and full household/occupation/address detail to be captured in the image mop-up pass. {CENSUS} (marker) Census already recorded above: 1841 Stoke St Gregory; 1881 Bridgwater (wife Fanny, dau Elizabeth).
